Heroes

Here’s another show that ups the flash forward/flashback ante with actual time travel. On “Heroes,” nerdish fan-favorite Hiro is capable of teleporting, freezing time and, yes, traveling through it however he likes. In addition to giving us grim looks into possible futures throughout the series, Hiro spent much of last season stuck in feudal Japan. (He’s still working out the kinks in his powers.) The rest of the characters spent the season playing catch-up, after the season premiere started four months after the previous episode.
