The Cast of “Two and a Half Men”

“Men, men, men, men, manly men, men, men…” Those chunks rising up in your throat aren’t caused by painful memories of collegiate a cappella. That theme song triggers your body’s natural response to the prospect of spending 30 minutes watching “Two and a Half Men.”
A 21st century, all-male update of “Full House” (but with just one child, no Uncle Joey and a creepy morphing intro image), “Men” should be a tolerable sitcom. But there’s no getting past how annoying Jon, Charlie and little whatshisface are, not to mention the constant repetition of “Me-en” between every scene. A recast might not be the most appropriate remedy here; we’d settle for a good, old-fashioned mercy kill.
