Joss Whedon, creator of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” hero to millions and all-around TV king, returns to the medium that made him a star this month with his new series “Dollhouse”. Excitement should be high, but production delays, a stinky timeslot and rumors of a seriously scattered story have a lot of folks nervous about the series’ success.
Things might look more optimistic if Whedon had a stronger track record for winners—and we sure aren’t trying to incur the wrath of his passionate fans—but it’s no secret that he tends to put out one commercial dud for every hit.
