The battle continues with this shooter side-story

When “Halo 3” came out September 25, 2007, the developers at Bungie promised that the game would “finish the fight.” But apparently that doesn’t mean we can’t go back for something of a rematch.
Slated to come out nearly two years to the day later, “Halo 3: ODST”—which Microsoft will release September 22 on the Xbox 360—is a spin-off that casts you as some Orbital Drop Shot Troopers who are dropped into the battle of New Mombasa just prior to the events of “Halo 3.”
But aside from not letting you play as the super soldier (and hero of the other games) Master Chief, how else will “ODST” distinguish itself from the rest of the “Halo” series? See for yourself with the following gallery of screenshots from the upcoming game.
