Different: The fate of Turtle

Sadly, the fate of Vinnie's faithful assistant is a bit different. Mark Wahlberg's real-life assistant and childhood friend, Donnie "Donkey" Carroll, was just as dedicated as Vinnie's Turtle, moving from Boston to Hollywood with Wahlberg, and sticking by his side for 14 years while trying to launch a career as a rap musician. After Donkey and Wahlberg had a falling out over Donkey's payout from the success of "Entourage," Donkey passed away in 2005 after a severe asthma attack. R.I.P., Donkey!
