If you were a metal head in high school, you probably spent hours staring at the covers of your favorite albums and watching the animated movie “Heavy Metal,” wondering what it would be like to live in such magnificent worlds where men were men, women were women, and flowing locks and big chests were as common as they are on, well, the covers of your mommy’s romance novels.

Apparently, they’re quite violent, with demonic nuns, human-hating demons and crazy creatures that would give nightmares to Clive Barker. At least that’s the assessment of Double Fine’s Tim Schafer, the designer of the metallic action game “Brütal Legend,” which EA will put out on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation this October 13.
