We've lived near Lake Forest for 5 years, and always have seen this place and thought we'd try it... BIG MISTAKE! I ordered take-out and got there when they said it'd be ready. 25 MINUTES LATER, I hear "Scotty" saying he was putting our food in...WHAT??? So, I told them I wanted my money back. When the lady told Scotty that, he yells "I'm not giving him his money back!" How about "Sir, I'm really sorry we made you wait so long!" Anyway, they did give my a refund... but, not even a hint of an apology. WOW! Then, I went to Wendy's, where I waited for about 2 minutes for my food. Scotty may have the best fried chicken, bbq, and ribs on the planet, but nothing is worth putting-up with people who are so clueless about customer service!

The food was not that great, mediocre at best. I went there with my mother, who loves to eat at buffet restaurants. I have had gastric bypass, so I can't really eat a lot, but I go along to make her happy. When I didn't finish my egg roll, I wrapped it up and put it in my purse to take with me. The waitress came over, and yelled at me in front of the entire restaurant accusing me of stealing food - and charged me an extra $2 for the egg roll. Never mind other patrons were there on their third plate of food, and I barely had 8 bites. I will absolutely NEVER go there again

Kendalizor wrote about Spinelli's Pizzeria

The great thing about this place is the hours are open till 5AM!! Great to go for night owls and they have a descent amount of beer. Spinelli's Pizza is usually thin and flimsy with the toppings sliding off. The Stromboli's are okay, but too chewy and light on filling cause of the bread. Still it's cheap and open when nowhere else is serving food. I wish there were more places to eat this late. There is a nice unique atmosphere here. This is the better of the other Spinelli's in Louisville.

This club in in a hotel basement. If you have difficulty with climbing stairs, don't go here. There's an elevator but I was refused access to it and told climb the stairs when trying to leave. With a bad back and a trick knee, that's not something I can easily do. Although I explained this and that I used it to get in, it made no difference to security. USE THE STAIRS! No one told me I couldn't use the elevator going in, there's no sign to say it can't be used after a certain hour, but try and use it after 10p and you'll be quickly told USE THE STAIRS! Thus this club is NOT handicap accessible nor is it handicap user friendly. I believe this is a direct violation of code relating to public venues having to be handicap accessible. There is advertisement for food at the club, but that is a lie too. No food available, unless it's about a bowl of pretzels and that's not always available either.

I will always go eat here. The managers and staff are the best. The food is top notch. Much better than the others in the East End. You cannot go wrong going to Austin's. Try the Sunday breakfast. It is the best!

Went to this resturant for years, but have been away for a year. I always liked it, and was troubled by the bad reviews. So, I went anyway. WHAT A BAD IDEA! It was Monday night. We were the only table 6pm to 715 pm. Our waiter brought water and left for a very long time. No suprise, I had expected bad service thanks to the reviews. Then he brought the apps. Terrible!!! The food was old and freezer burnt. We sent it back; it stayed on the bill. Waiter then put me on drink rations allowing only one coke apparently with no refills except for when he dumped my son's coke all over my son. His pants were soaked; his shirt was soaked; his shoes and socks were soaked. The waiter then tried to scrape the coke from the table top onto the floor, and when he did he filled my wife's purse with coke and covered my wife's brand new wool coat with coke; they were sitting on the bench seats of our booth. He quickly handed us a stack of napkins and fetched the bill. I was amazed but said nothing. Manager just looked at us. We paid and left without a word.

BlasterB wrote about Mussel & Burger Bar

The name may throw off the crowds for a little while but not for long. I never knew about this style of food till four years ago. Now I'm following Cristina & Fernando around like a rock band groupie! It started with Havana Rumba and now Mussel & Burger. We had calamari and the seafood burger in the bar - it was excellent - full of flavor - low price - excellent service and atmosphere. Thank you for another great place to eat ;-)

This place is the only bar that I go to. I love it and the people who come there. There is such a mix of people that I feel alive no matter how bad my day was. I can have a clean good time and not worry about any trouble. It is safe and secure and a great time.

If one goes out to eat very often they would know that a group over 4 or 5 gets a tip added on to check. It does say this on almost all menues. Waitresses and waiters do not make much on the hour. Anyone who goes out to eat and can afford to do it, should leave a tip. I have been to this place and enjoy the food and the service. I will be going back. Food is outstanding.

1/23/13 This was my third trip to the 360 for lunch. My first visit I thought it was maybe a little dingy, but the service was good and the grilled chicken was excellent. I was one of four in the party and everyone was quite satisfied with food and service. My second trip was me and my sister for lunch, I had the hotbrown she had breakfest, it was all very good, the hotbrown was one of the best I have ever had. Today my sister and I droped in for lunch we both had the hot brown and it was very good. Service was great and the place was very clean. I would be a regular if I lived or worked in the area. Value, these prices on Bardstown road for this quality of food and service, cheap, real cheap! I will go back and look forward to eating my way through the menu.

Why have a nice restaurant, good food, good service, and then allow stinky cigarettess? Makes no sense to me.

burgergirl commented on Burger

Are you kidding? I wouldn't eat burgers at any of these places. Shady Lane Cafe. Lunch. Best burger you EVER tried. Including Vegetarian. I'm sorry, WW was great twenty years ago, but not today. Who's voting here? And wherever you eat, DON'T GO CORPORATE! Have a great day!

MaryJaneGlauber wrote about Palermo Viejo

My husband and I eat here regularly because the food is consistently excellent. It is authentically Argentinian so if you are looking for traditional food that is typical of the USA or for regional US based food, eat elsewhere. This is an experience of the food of Argentina. I brought my Argentinian cousin here and she has brought other Argentinian's back to experience this genuine cuisine. The service is also excellent and consistently excellent. The service is also friendly while remaining professional. Reservations are a really good idea, especially on weekends, so give Palermo Viejo a phone call ahead of time to make a reservation. We have been going here regularly for some years now. This review is based on many visits to Palermo Viejo and not just a single visit to the restaurant.

Great people behind the bar and serving. Food, honestly, is not incredibly amazing...but certainly up to par for pub grub or quick burger while grabbing a beer. Definitely a favorite for local Louisville sports bar.

When you walk in, you notice how clean and organized this place is. You'll have NO trouble finding what you're looking for and if they don't have it, they'll find you something comparable or order it for you, but I cannot imagine them NOT having what you want, they have everything! Nicest owners who actually work in the store, you're not getting some 9 dollar an hour guy who doesn't know his wines....LOL, you're getting two owners who know their stuff. Friendliest, best Liquor Store I've EVER been in and I've been in quite a few......

Cmvramirez wrote about 60 West Bistro & Martini Bar

60 West used to be a great place for martinis & conversation. It was a definite favorite for my friends to come on Fridays for the great drink specials. Food was always good, but service is usually hit or miss, typically falling into the "miss" category. While I used to be able to get a decent lemon drop martini, they now include SPRITE into martinis! When the heck did Sprite become a part of a martini?! Combining this with the poor service that we get 90% of the time (sometimes due to the understaffing/slow wait staff, sometimes due to the slow kitchen). Unless I hear of some significant changes, I don't see myself returning to this place, unless I restrict myself to wine.
