Poor customer service

I love tumbleweed's. the view, the specials on margaritas, been there many times, but geez their customer service sucks. Was calling to see about July 3rd during the fireworks.. the first woman was very helpful and nice but the guy was short, abrupt, and talked down to me. We'll defiantly not be stopping by

Missing the old weed

Tumbleweed on the River is by far the best of all theTumbleweed's but it still has room for major improvement. Typically long waits on weekend nights and Mondays because of drink specials. I prefer to sit outside on a nice night but their lower deck outdoor area is pathetic. You may wait 1.5 hours to sit outside and get stuck right by the sidewalk with a peak-a-boo view of the water. They have large folding doors that open the entire outdoor patio to the inside dinning area so it takes away from the peacefulness of sitting outside. They have also managed to cram as many tables and chairs outside as possible so I hope you don't mind bumping a few chairs.

The food is pretty average but their queso and chips are great. Since the kitchen is on the second floor it makes for very poor and slow service as well as cold food. All orders are sent electronicly to the kitchen and a seperate server brings down the food - if it is wrong it takes a while to correct since they have to resend. I have requested no onions on tacos and burritos several times and they always mess it up. Again, the electronic ordering makes it difficult to make requests. And after ordering icecream, it was melted by the time it made it to my tabe.
However if you have a bad experience voice your concerns to management, they seem more than willing to lend a listening ear and since I have voiced my concerns several times and things seem to be getting better.
