Good environment, Better food

Went there with my wife and kids and we all agree that this place is a new favorite. The location is a little confusing unless you know the area but it is worth the trouble of finding it. I ordered a italian bake with meatballs and it was one of the better dishes I've ever had. They make their meatballs about double the size of normal and they are delicious. It is under new ownership as of this year and she informed me that the will be opening for lunch from 11-2 starting on the 11th of september. The prices are unbeatable and I will definitely be back.

A good staple in Louisville

If you want good home-cooked, no-frills Italian food, this is the place to go. The pizza is thin crusted and one of the better pies in Louisville. They have a wide variety of pasta dishes, including a build-it-yourself dish where you can add ingredients to make your own unique dish. They also have a handful of Greek-inspired dishes such as a gyro sandwich and salad, as well as a selection of typical pub inspired sandwiches with an Italian feel. I would stay away from the meatballs, they're not worth it. The atmosphere is dark and very casual. They usually have a great crowd around dinner time. They have a very basic (read bad) wine list, so if you're interested in having wine with dinner I would set your expectations low. However, they do have these fancy bottled sodas for those who are seeking non-alcoholic beverages which are fun.
