One of Louisville's newest authentic Indian eateries, DakShin creates delightful scents of aromatic curry to fill the air. Bollywood-style MTV straight from India plays on the TV and the art on the walls is Indian for sure. The menu features at least one dish from every Indian state, from Tamil Nadu and the Malabar Coast to Kashmir and the Himalayas. With 200+ items on the menu it can be tough to choose, but everything is reasonably priced. Outside there is a "chaat corner" which opens in the evenings at 5, vending chaat or Indian small plates comparable to tapas or dim sum for only $5
