The Corner Door

The recent addition of the Corner Door Bar & Grill to the neighborhood is one more reason I'll be back soon. The space was last occupied by The Pink Door, a well-liked Asian restaurant and hangout that wasn't long for this world. The Douglass Loop palate seems to be less adventurous than even stylized Asian dishes, considering neighbors such as the Dundee Tavern, Fat Jimmy's and the Twig&Leaf, not that there's anything wrong with that. All that matters is that the barroom has personality, the staff is friendly and the menu for food and drinks is interesting and not too pricy. The Corner Door meets these criteria.
