Smoketown USA is a family-friendly barbecue establishment housed in a Civil War era building in Germantown. A rummage-sale serves as decoration -- jewelry, clothing, photography, pottery -- allowing customers to shop and dine at the same time. The menu offers classic barbecue sandwiches, ribs, jalapeño cornbread, Spanish rice, and much more. Vegetarian options are available; the mixed greens are perfectly spiced and mixed with black-eyed peas and tomatoes. Children under 6 eat free with the purchase of an adult meal.
