I've had the Heap'n Chips and the Shrimp and Cheddar Grits. The Heap'n Chips is HUGE ..definitely something to share and it a great value. The Shrimp and Grits is a LARGE serving of grits and is very very good, however it is over-priced. $18 for a bowl of gritts with 6 to 8 shrimp is a little much. I do recommend Doc Crow's and will definitely go back!

The management/owner was awful. His incompetent employee charged my Visa over 100 dollars for someone else's tab. Instead of making it a priority he told me tough, it happened to him before and I should just deal with it. I quickly filed a report with the BBB and Attorney General's Office on his BA. I was also not happy with the soggy fried green tomatoes, always cold sweet potatoes fries and gray burger that I received on more than one occasion. BTW I asked for my burger medium rare and it was cold and wet in the middle. The staff is not knowledgeable about cuisine or oysters. The coolest dude in there is the Oyster guy and even he seemed annoyed with the unhelpful wait staff. Take your money somewhere else for a good time and better cuisine.
