The B-52s at Waterfront Park

The Derby Eve Jam, a mainstay in the '70s and '80s, made a triumphant return May 2, 2008, in large part thanks to a break in the rainy weather and the over-the-top fun of the B-52s, who are enjoying a welcome return to the pop charts. The free show drew a healthy crowd to Waterfront Park, and they were rewarded with a run through the B-52s songbook, from new wave hits like "Rock Lobster," to karaoke sensation "Love Shack" to their latest hit, "Funplex."
