Created out of the old Fischer Meat Packing Plant on Mellwood between downtown and the Crescent Hill/Clifton neighborhoods, the center rests on 42 acres of land and houses more than 200 artist studios, retail shops, teaching studios, office and rehearsal space. There have been numerous parties, music and film festivals, art fairs and creative events held there.
