Louisville Slugger Field

Host to the minor league Louisville Bats, the Cincinnati Reds' Triple-A affiliate, Slugger Field is a downtown landmark that presents good vibes for ballgames, fireworks shows and concerts from time to time. Built out of a gutted train station in the eastern portion of downtown, the ball park is a throwback stadium like that of Camden Yards in Baltimore, where tradition meets contemporary. There's a playground and carousel on the right field concourse to keep kids occupied and it's also popular with young professionals during Thursday evening games because of cheap beer and live music during happy hour. It's favorite spot for families during Thunder Over Louisville as well. The right field seats and bleachers can provide a serene view of the Louisville skyline during evening games as the sun sets behind the buildings
