Swelterin'

Day 2 of Forecastle has appreciably more people in attendance, all of whom are sweating like offensive linemen during summer drills. It's brutal over here, but a great scene, and the bands don't stop.

There are a couple of kids in Devo power dome hats, ready for tonight's show from the legendary band, and a lot of hippies left over from last night's Widespread show. Rumor has it they slept under a bunch of grass and driftwood on the banks of the muddy Ohio.

Heading over to the Broken Spurs now, and they make me sweat even in air conditioning. I figure to pass out by the third song..
