Pour Haus: Closed

The Pour Haus has closed. The bar on Shelby Street had served as a music venue for scores of rock shows in Louisville since opening in 2006, including the annual Wax Fang-Danny Glover Cover Band New Years' bashes, Pere Ubu and dozens of Louisville bands. This comes just days after the announcement that The Dame in Lexington was closing. Here's the announcement posted Sunday on The Pour Haus' MySpace page:

"It is with a great amount of shock and sadness that I have to tell you that the owners of the Pour Haus have decided to close. Thanks to all of you who left us with fond memories, we did our best for you."
