Alice In Chains to play the Palace
Grungy metal band Alice In Chains will play Feb. 23 at the Louisville Palace to support "Black Gives Way to Blue," its fourth studio album and first sans vocalist Layne Staley, who died in 2002. William DuVall, of Comes With The Fall, is the band's new singer.

The Pour Haus has closed. The bar on Shelby Street had served as a music venue for scores of rock shows in Louisville since opening in 2006, including the annual Wax Fang-Danny Glover Cover Band New Years' bashes, Pere Ubu and dozens of Louisville bands.
