Last year's winner

Louisville Palace

Louisville Palace

625 S. Fourth St.
Louisville, KY 40202
Neighborhood: Downtown
Whereas the bigger arenas around town, Louisville Gardens and Freedom Hall offer that big concert event feel, the Palace can offer a more intimate affair. With a vintage look reminiscent of renaissance architecture the Palace is a sight to behold once inside. Statues and decorations make you feel like you're in an outdoor setting although you're in a air-controlled building and plush carpet cover the floors. Some of today's biggest musical acts roll through town and play the Palace because of the atmosphere. It's arguably the best place to see one of your favorite bands, but comedians, stage plays and special film screening ceremonies can also grace the Palace's walls. When you go (if you haven't already) gaze at the ceiling and you'll understand the "outdoor feel"
