Originally released in August 1986, “Stand By Me” celebrates its 25th anniversary this year with a new Blu-ray release on March 22. The Rob Reiner-directed adaptation of a Stephen King novella about four young boys coming of age in 1959 was a critical and financial hit when it was first released.
