Premise: Anne enjoys her life as a writer for a small magazine, even with the come-ons from her horndog pal Ricky. But when her sister Laura turns up to declare she’s “The Queen of the Leather Astro-Girls of Saturn,” Anne realizes things are going to change. And she needs a drink.
Why it would make a good movie: The whip-smart dialog and romantic subplot could make this a rom-com for the “Juno” set.
