Season three: The down 'n' dirty
Mulder’s sex life: Showing signs of life, but sadly refusing to pay off—at least with other people. In “Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose,” Mulder is surprisingly nonplussed to hear the clairvoyant suggest that the agent will die of autoerotic asphyxiation.
Scully’s sex life: So dormant she gets a dog, names him “Queequeg” [pictured] after a character in “Moby-Dick” and lets him get eaten up by a monster—making her even less lucky with pets than with men.
Do they do it?: Still no, though they’re getting desperate enough to think about it.
