Yep, more dancing. With a plot built entirely on stuff already seen in films like "Save the Last Dance" and "Dirty Dancing," "Step Up" aims to empower by showing how a bad kid can get clean by putting on his dancing shoes.
Do we oblige? No. There aren't enough great dancing scenes to convince anyone that fleet feet are the ticket out of a life of crime and into fame and fortune.
