From Ratchet’s pal Clank to Mega Man’s Servbot, you can’t go wrong when you mix robots and video games. OK, actually you can—as the game based on the first “Transformers” movie showed us.

But we’re still cautiously optimistic about the new follow-up, which Activision Blizzard releases June 23 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PC, PlayStation 2, DS and PSP (apparently the Virtual Boy and 2600 were busy).
