Idol history: The winner of season three was quick to record two albums, star in a Broadway musical and write a melodramatic memoir about her life thus far.

Big screen role: Miraculously, she nabbed the lead role in 2006’s TV-movie “Life Is Not a Fairytale: The Fantasia Barrino Story.”

Will she ever win an Oscar? If she ever decides to make the leap from Lifetime Originals, it’s not out of the question.
