Angels: Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, “Dogma”

Loki and Bartleby are the bad-boy angels of Kevin Smith’s dirty imagination. They’ve been cast out of heaven, exiled for all eternity to Wisconsin. But they want to go back, and they hear word of a hip new bishop (George Carlin) who’s trying to spruce up the Church’s image with a new sanctuary that allows anyone who enters to be forgiven all sins. While other angels stand in reverence, Loki and Bartleby look for loopholes in Church orthodoxy, and commit themselves to exploiting it for all it’s worth.
