Today's Pick: Four New Digital Series on the CW Seed
The Topic: The CW brings new series to new screens with the launch of the digital-only studio, the CW Seed. The digital studio launched Thursday with four original Web series including the third season of Jane Esponson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Brad Bell's award-winning series Husbands. The comedy follows two men who, after an accidental drunken marriage in Las Vegas, decide to stay together in support of marriage equality. Other made-for-the-Web series making their debut on the site include Backpackers, about a recently engaged couple embarking on separate European adventures, Gallery Mallory, an animated series that revolves around an over-educated and under-employed woman working in a Soho art gallery and The P.E.T. Squad Files, which follows the misadventures of a rag-tag group of ghost chasers. The first episode of each series is available now with new episodes debuting each week.
