Portia de Rossi, who has been spotted sporting a new short 'do, is going to have to grow her hair long again (or get a funky wig) for her new role.
She'll be Lily Munster (Yvonne De Carlo's role) to Jerry O'Connell's Herman (played by Fred Gwynne, of course) in the reboot of the classic Munsters show titled Mockingbird Lane.
The pilot is in development for a possible midseason slot on NBC, reports EW.com.
Eddie Izzard has signed on to play Grandpa. Mason Cook will play their werewolf son Eddie, while Charity Wakefield will play "plain" cousin Marilyn.
