Closercloses. The series finale of TNT's The Closer drew 9.1 million viewers Monday, its second-best number and the No. 3 program last week on cable or network. That helped launch spinoff Major Crimes with a big 7.2 million viewers. NY cop.Copper, BBC America's first original drama, claimed a decent 1.1 million viewers for Sunday's premiere against the finale of USA's Political Animals (2.3 million), while the debut of E!'s Married to Jonas wed 1.7 million.

CW starts. Musical-chairs game show Oh Sit! opened to 1.2 million viewers Wednesday, but The Next, the network's try at a singing competition series, was out of tune with 840,000 the following night. Fox's umpteenth Gordon Ramsay reality series, Hotel Hell, opened with a typical 5.1 million Monday.
