The Three Stooges

2012, 20th Century Fox, PG, $30; Blu-ray, $40

Peter and Bobby Farrelly wrote and directed this comedy that places the classic slapstick trio in contemporary times. Larry (Sean Hayes), Curly (Will Sasso) and Moe (Chris Diamantopoulos), who were left as babies on the doorstep of orphanage, bumble their way through one misadventure after another as they try to save their childhood home. Not surprisingly, they wind up as stars of a reality show.

USA TODAY's Claudia Puig says three stars out of four: "There's no shortage of nyuk-nyuk's, woo-woo-woo's and eye-poking, as expected in a movie about the slapstick comedy trio."

Salmon Fishing in the Yemen

A British fisheries expert (Ewan McGregor) is pressured into working with a sheik's rep (Emily Blunt) to make her boss' dream of bringing fly fishing to the desert a reality.

Friends With Kids

The impact children have on relationships fuels this comedy. Two single friends decide to have a baby but continue to date others after they see how things changed when two other couples have kids. Their choice leads to unexpected emotional swings. Puig: three stars
