'Hemlock Grove': Netflix delves into werewolves
Yeesh, that's a creepy poster for Netflix's new original series, 'Hemlock Grove.' (Credit: Netflix)

After watching every episode of House of Cards (and wanting more), I'm totally on board with Netflix's original series. The next one looks like another must-see - and this time, the company is delving into something a little scarier and furrier.

Hemlock Grove is a horror series from Eli Roth based on Brian McGreevy's 2012 novel of the same name. It stars Famke Janssen, Dougray Scott, Lili Taylor, Bill Skarsgard and Landon Liboiron.

The plot involves two young murder suspects - one a werewolf - who decide to embark on their own search for a killer. Like House of Cards, there will be 13 episodes, and they'll all be released on the same day.

The trailer looks so good that I may read the book first. (Here's a long excerpt, if you're interested.)

Hemlock Grove premieres April 19 on Netflix.
