Ben and Kate is a likely goner.

Fox is pulling the freshman comedy, which stars Nat Faxon and Dakota Johnson as brother and sister, from its Tuesday lineup starting next week, with the six remaining episodes to run at a later date. It was averaging just 3.1 million viewers for the season and pulled in just 2.6 million on Tuesday, according to preliminary ratings.

Ben and Kate's 8:30 ET/PT slot will be filled by a combination of Raising Hope, New Girl and American Idol for the next six weeks until Season 11 of Hell's Kitchen takes over the 8 p.m. hour March 12.

Hope will fill the hour on Tuesday, Feb. 5 and Feb. 26 and will be joined in that hour by New Girl on Feb. 12 and 19. A special Idol episode will run on March 5 and Hope will have its third-season finale in a prime, post-Idol slot on March 28 (9 ET/PT).

New Girl and The Mindy Project, which make up the second hour of the Tuesday comedy block, will remain in their time slots.

Ben and Kate joins another Tuesday network comedy, ABC's Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23, on the sidelines. ABC pulled that series starting with next week's lineup, and will run the eight remaining episodes at a later date.
