Hear this: Sonny Smith's '100 Records'

It's one thing to come up with a concept record. It's another to actually execute it in a way that others will want to hear it.

In 2010 singer-songwriter Sonny Smith had an idea: He wanted to create 100 fictitious bands and write songs for each one. Thus the 100 Records project was born, which Smith releasing volumes of real songs by fake artists.
