Arguably the most famous of Louisville landmarks, the Downs and the Twin Spires draws folks from all around the world during Derby week. Supplying Louisville with thoroughbred horse racing, one of the three main things Louisville and Kentucky are known for (the other three being bourbon, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Louisville sluggers), watching races at Churchill vaults you into history and tradition.
Derby week provides most of the hustle and bustle at the track with concerts and makeshift parties in the infield and celebrities on Millionaire's Row, but during both meets one in the spring from Late April to July and the fall in November, Churchill has plenty of other action when it comes to concerts, festivals and popular attractions
