I'd definitely say Cumberland is the best brewhouse I've been to, great food GREAT beer...just wish they had a bigger venue!

What is Browning's Brewpub chopped liver? They brew better tasting and more consistent brews then two of the others listed at very least. 401 E Main St Louisville, KY 40202-1110 (502) 515-0174 The restaurant is very spacious and the dining is upscale with chef Anush Shariat at the helm. Best brewpub food in the city by far.

Maybe there are three BBC's because they make some damn good beer. So shut up and drink up!

You have seriously underrated the food offering at Cumberland Brews. The place certainly qualifies as a gastropub, with upscale pub grub, accompanied by several great specials which change nightly- much the better than BBC. Additionally, this listing fails to consider Bank St. Brewhouse, the new NABC HQ. This renovated location in New Albany is serving food off a petite menu of Belgian inspired dishes to accompany NABC brews. Overall, the author of the above list is seems a bit hypercritical (see: Whiny)- if you are hunting great beer, great. If you are looking to be waited on hand and foot, go someplace else.

Cumberland Brews is by far the best brewery in Louisville. Their selection of "year-round brews" is great and the random blackboard items are tasty as well. Food is great, list of side items are so tasty. The "extra bucks" are more than worth keeping a local brewery like Cumberland on Bardstown Road.
