Seidenfaden's was opened in 1921 by the family of the same name and operated as a neighborhood bar for over eighty years, until it was bought by the Heck family in 2002. Since then, Seidenfaden's has retained its loyal neighborhood clientele by day, while turning into a hip night-owl venue after dark. Regular events include: "Giant Screen Karaoke" on Wednesday and Saturday, "Movie Night" on Sunday, a standing Johnny Berry & The Outliers gig on the first Saturday of every month, and $1 Falls City beer all day Wednesday. Other bands and D.J.'s play live performances on a rotating basis. A pool room was recently added in the back.
