The Monkey Wrench is part restaurant, part sports bar, part music club, and part art gallery. The eclectic menu offers an array of appetizers, sandwiches, pizzas, pirogies and burgers. There's an unbeatable Sunday brunch buffet with a live bluegrass band. Tuesday is two-for-one burgers and well-drinks, as well as midnight Connect Four tournaments. Wednesday nights are set aside for Open Mic. Local legend DJ Kim Sorise spins on Thursday nights. Events vary on other nights, but usually feature live music. With seemingly countless televisions, The Monkey Wrench is a good place to watch sports, especially U of L games.
