Akiko's makes no qualms about it. This is a karaoke bar, plain and simple. Akiko's serves only beer, wine and sake, and if you're not there to get down on the microphone - why the hell are you there? One of the best things about Akiko's is that the performers here often seem a cut above the average karaoke artist. It is not rare to see some pretty decent performances.
Phoenix Hill Tavern

With its multiple rooms and levels, Phoenix Hill is definitely one of the largest bars in town. There is almost always some sort of live music, often cover-bands, and a retractable moon-roof allows patrons to enjoy the stars. Phoenix Hill also plays host to several special events and festivals throughout the year, such as its very own Chili Cook-Off. Weekly happy hours, car shows and much more.

It's small neighborhood bar that is home to mostly regulars. The drinks are strong and cheap, and the karaoke is quite entertaining.
Seidenfaden's

Seidenfaden's was opened in 1921 by the family of the same name and operated as a neighborhood bar for over eighty years, until it was bought by the Heck family in 2002. Since then, Seidenfaden's has retained its loyal neighborhood clientele by day, while turning into a hip night-owl venue after dark. Regular events include: "Giant Screen Karaoke" on Wednesday and Saturday, "Movie Night" on Sunday, a standing Johnny Berry The Outliers gig on the first Saturday of every month, and $1 Falls City beer all day Wednesday. Other bands and D.J.'s play live performances on a rotating basis. A pool room was recently added in the back.
