Sometimes the best things are a little out of the way. Turtle Run Winery is an example of something great just off the beaten path. In an unsuspecting gray building in rural Harrison County, premium wine is being made from grapes grown in Indiana soil. The shop is smallish in size, but the wine boats hugely flavorful notes. While you're there, ask the owners how the turtle became their mascot for an entertaining story from nature. Sometimes slow and steady does win the race. Just like slow poke turtles, grapes need time to get to where they belong.
