The Thoroughbred Lounge isn't a place for horses, no matter how well-bred. It's a slightly more casual and less-expensive version of the English Grill, which is right next door. The Lounge serves appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees, and desserts. Of course, the most famous menu item is the Hot Brown, and if you want to call yourself a true Louisvillian, you'd better go get one of the open-faced turkey sandwiches with bacon, cheese, tomatoes and Mornay sauce.
